SMT Feeder Setup Trolleys

Preparing component feeders away from the running assembly machine keeps changeovers from stalling the line. Mobile SMT feeder setup trolleys work as standalone offline stations: operators load fresh SMD reels into feeders, check them over and get them ready before the feeders ever reach the pick-and-place machine.

Preparing the next job while the current one is still running

A setup trolley lets the operator gather, load and check the full feeder kit for the next job on the side, while the line finishes the current batch. When the changeover comes, the feeders are already staged and ready to go in.

Built for Yamaha, Juki and Panasonic feeder banks

Our setup trolleys use interface plates matched to the feeder mounting pattern of Yamaha, Juki and Panasonic:

• Yamaha setup trolleys: fit both pneumatic and electric feeder types.
• Juki setup trolleys: secure mounting for standard tape and stick feeders.
• Panasonic setup trolleys: aligned for Panasonic’s feeder designs.

ESD-safe construction for handling live feeder electronics

Modern feeders carry their own control electronics, so the trolley they sit on needs to hold a stable ground the whole time. Our setup trolleys are finished in certified conductive powder coating, with every structural part bonded to the chassis and grounded through conductive industrial casters, in line with EN 61340-5-1:2024.

Compact enough for narrow aisles

At around 500 mm wide, the trolley fits between lines without blocking the aisle. Side ESD handles let one operator steer it with one hand, and lockable casters keep it in place once it reaches the machine.
